Typically when we think about microservices we think of Kubernetes as the scheduler of choice for large scale containerized applications. For this reason most service mesh solutions are Kubernetes only. But what if my microservices application is on a different deployment platform?

On July 10, popular apps like Spotify and Tinder suffered crashes due to a Facebook SDK issue. The crash highlights how a code or environment change by another company (e.g. FB) whose API you rely on can bring down your own app for no fault of your own.

Microservices come with their own challenges — they constantly change and those changes are reflected in different UIs. The idea behind the product is to give engineers a single pane of glass to get all of the information they need about the microservices that have been deployed across their organization.
The stock market for public SaaS and Cloud companies is at an all-time high. This helps VCs raise more funds, creates more liquidity, etc. But it’s more than that. In many categories of SaaS, usage is way way up since March 15. Work from Home has been accelerated by a decade. Digital transformation by 5 years.
