We’re excited to announce today that we’ve raised an $80 million early-stage fund to invest in startups that are redefining how teams build, deploy, secure, and scale mission-critical software. The fund will primarily lead Pre-Seed and Seed rounds with typical check size ranges from $500k to $3M.
We’d like to take this moment to say thank you. None of this would be possible without the support, feedback, and commitment from the community.
We're excited to welcome our newest portfolio company, Mobot- a platform that gives quality engineers a powerful team of helpful robots to do world-class testing at scale, across devices and ecosystems, in a matter of hours.
Heavybit is growing. We recently introduced our new Editorial Lead, Andrew Park, to the team. He brings experience doing content for tray.io, CBS Interactive, CNET Networks, and ZDNet and will be working closely with the team and portfolio companies to create and strategize around content, messaging, and communications.
Congratulations to Heavybit companies Snyk, LaunchDarkly, Contentful, and Netlify for making this year's Cloud 100 list. The companies on the list are selected for growth, sales, valuation and culture plus a reputation score derived in consultation with 26 CEO judges and executives from their public-cloud-company peers.
“My journey as a founder, as a CEO, as an entrepreneur would have been so much easier, faster and better had there been something like Heavybit,” said Jesse Robbins, founder of Chef and now an investor with community-focused Heavybit.
